The systems behind a living county
A county is a set of connected systems, not a list of buildings. Use this wiki when a settlement stalls: a missing resource, a locked building slot, a mayor with the wrong bonus or a political decision that changes the next decade.

How to use the wiki
Start with the symptom
If a settlement is not growing, the cause is usually one of four things: an unmet food or equipment need, a missing building slot, an idle production building, or a trade route that cannot carry the good. The building and resource pages are written to help you rule those out in order.
If the county is stable but stagnant, the cause is usually political: the wrong mayor, a weak culture bonus or a privilege that favours another region. The noble-house and Assembly pages cover that layer.
